As with all things, you really do get what you pay for. TheraBreath is different to ordinary mouthwashes. TheraBreath products are produced in small, carefully crafted batches in our pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing facilites. All of our oral rinses are produced and bottled in the USA so we can ensure a consistent, high quality, effective product. Our proprietary, stabilized ingredients are derived from specially selected raw materials provided only by carefully monitored "best in class" vendors.
Because of this fanatical devotion to high quality and efficacy, our prices can be somewhat higher than ordinary mouthwashes. However, our research has shown that consistent use of TheraBreath Oral Care products will lead to better overall oral health.
Simply put, you can't give bad breath to someone else. The bacteria that create this problem are actually good and are part of the normal oral flora (the mix of bacteria that you need to function properly). The bacteria in your boyfriend's mouth (tongue, throat, tonsils) may be reacting to his dry mouth, which could have been created by smoking, medication, or alcohol (in beer and wine). Saliva is the body’s natural barrier against bacteria. As you sleep throughout the night, your salivary glands slow down because your brain knows you are not eating. For some people over thirty, salivary glands can shut down completely at night. If you have ever awakened from a very dry mouth, this is probably happening to you. Combine this with the constant flow of air through your mouth as you sleep (amplified if you snore) and you get an extremely dry environment – one that is ideal for bad-breath-related bacteria to quickly multiply and produce a great deal of waste. TheraBreath was first developed in the 1990s when Dr Katz' daughter was teased in high school about having a bad breath problem. The products she tried at the time just didn't work for her. Dr Katz rolled up his sleeves and went to work to find the scientific solution for her chronic bad breath, and so TheraBreath was born.
The only way to effectively stop bacteria from producing volatile sulphur compounds is to use TheraBreath products every twelve hours. Bad-breath-related bacteria reproduce every 10-12 hours which is why the product needs to be used regularly to control their population. We recommend you use TheraBreath Fresh Breath Oral Rinse every morning when you wake up and every evening right before bedtime. Follow the directions on pack.
Yes. All TheraBreath products are gluten-free.
TheraBreath has a strict no animal testing policy. In addition, no animal products are ever used in any of our formulas.
Yes. Our products are bottled under Rabbinical Supervision and have earned the KSA seal of approval. You can be assured all manufacturing and bottling is carefully scrutinised and that no animal products are ever used in any of our formulas.
Yes. TheraBreath is safe for use if you are pregnant or breatfeeding. TheraBreath Fresh Breath Oral Rinses do not contain alcohol.
